The organisation uses a free app to show people locations where they can eat, drink and shop with less waste. Participating businesses sign up to the app and put a sticker in their window, informing passers-by they can come in and get a refill should they need it. The organisation has partnered with companies including Costa Coffee, Starbucks, PRET, LUSH, Morrisons, LEON and Neal’s Yarn Remedies.

Location

United Kingdom.

Scale

Since the start of the campaign an estimated one hundred million single use bottles have been saved from entering the waste stream.

To achieve this, they aim to spread the word to encourage behaviour change amongst individuals, as well as making reusables more accessible. The organisation has partnered with many big-name brands to keep refill stations in their shops, to ensure less waste is produced.
